Learn More About My Approach:

  • My style is direct, collaborative, and grounded in honesty and compassion.

I believe therapy works best when we can speak openly about what is happening, in your life and in the room. I offer thoughtful reflections, name patterns I notice, and gently challenge what may be keeping you stuck. At the same time, I deeply respect your pace and your autonomy.

You can expect authenticity rather than performance. I show up as a real person, steady, engaged, and present. I believe that our work is a partnership. I bring clinical depth and perspective and you bring your lived experience. Together, we can move toward clarity and insight.

My goal is not to fix you. It is to help you access your own capacity for leadership, wisdom, and change.

  • IFS (Internal Family Systems) is a powerful model of therapy that helps you explore and heal the different “parts” within you. Protective parts that work hard to keep you safe and the wounded parts that carry pain or shame from earlier experiences.

Rather than trying to fix or get rid of these parts, we approach them with curiosity and compassion. Through this process, you can:

    • Understand and soften inner conflicts

    • Release long-held burdens from trauma and stress

    • Access your natural capacity for calm, clarity, and connection

    • Experience a deeper sense of self-leadership and peace

  • Mindfulness complements IFS beautifully. It offers the awareness and spaciousness needed to notice your parts without judgment. In sessions, we practice slowing down, tuning in, and meeting each part of your experience with compassion.

Through mindful presence, you learn to:

    • Respond rather than react

    • Soothe your nervous system

    • Build resilience and self-trust

    • Create room for joy, rest, and authenticity

  • I recognize and respect human dignity. I help you access your inner strength and resources to work through current challenges as well as what arises from the past. Your whole self is welcome here and I am committed to creating a safe environment for emotional exploration.

  • My orientation is strength based, present-focused, and solution-oriented. I work within the Internal Family Systems Framework (IFS), exploring how to befriend yourself with curiosity, self-compassion, and acceptance decreasing inner conflict and confusion. I utilize mindfulness and somatic practices to create greater connection and trust with your inner experience. I offer DBT and CBT skills and strategies to address cognitive and behavior challenges. We will work together to identify your goals for therapy and discuss what specific treatment modalities are likely to be the best fit for your individual growth. It is important that you feel the work we do together is meaningful, therefore we will periodically review your goals for therapy and feel you are making progress. We will engage in acceptance of your whole self while integrating the changes you desire. Growth is cyclical and sometimes breaks from therapy are indicated to integrate new learning and ways of being. I always invite and open and honest conversation about what will be most beneficial for you on your therapeutic journey.

Looking inward can be difficult and successful therapy is dependent on your investment in your own growth.

  • Through the process of self-reflection, we increase self awareness and self-knowledge by taking an honest look at what is causing suffering in our lives. We also work to develop ways to move through stuck places and habitual patterns that may have developed out of necessity, but that are now getting in the way.
